How Arcbitrage works

The short version for users. Engineering docs (architecture, contracts, security, deployment, API) live in the repository's docs/ folder.

Overview

Arcbitrage is a non-custodial interface for swapping tokens and managing liquidity on Arc. It reads pool and position state directly from the chain, and every action is a transaction you sign in your own wallet. Arcbitrage holds no funds and has no special permissions over your positions.

Network

Arc · chain ID 5042 · RPC https://rpc.mainnet.arc.io · explorer https://explorer.arc.io.

Gas is paid in USDC. Your wallet shows the native USDC balance with 18 decimals; token contracts see the same balance through the USDC ERC-20 interface with 6 decimals. They are one balance, not two.

Contracts

Arcbitrage only interacts with the following contracts. Addresses come from Arc's and Uniswap's official deployment lists.

Swaps

For each trade Arcbitrage quotes every direct and one-hop route through verified Uniswap v2, v3 and hookless v4 pools (QuoterV2 for v3, getAmountsOut for v2) and picks the best output. You see the rate, price impact, minimum received and an estimated USDC network fee. The transaction is simulated against the current chain state before your wallet opens, and the router enforces your minimum output and deadline onchain.

Liquidity

Uniswap v3 (concentrated): you choose a price range. Your liquidity earns fees only while the pool price is inside it, and is held as an NFT position. Narrow ranges earn more per dollar but suffer more impermanent loss and go out of range more often.

Uniswap v2 (standard): liquidity covers all prices; you deposit both tokens in the pool's current ratio and receive LP tokens. There is no range to manage.

Approvals are for the exact amount by default. You can review and revoke allowances from the wallet menu at any time.

Analytics

USD prices are derived only from onchain pools, anchored to USDC = $1; a token whose deepest pool has under $50,000 of liquidity (estimated as twice its already-priced side) is shown as “price unavailable (low liquidity)” instead of guessed. Volume is summed from Swap events, fee APR is trailing fees annualised over TVL, and P&L uses pool prices at your deposit blocks. Historical figures need an RPC that serves archive state; when it doesn't, the dashboard says so. No figure is a forecast or a promise of returns.

Security

Arcbitrage will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Strategy automation is recommend-only: the range keeper suggests actions, checks them against limits you set, and every step still requires your signature. See also the risk disclaimer.
